last wills

What Exactly is a Will? Do I really need it?

If you are not using a Trust, a Last Will provides for the division of your estate after you pass.  In some cases, this is the best option for our clients.  It is less expensive to set up than a Trust, though it cannot save the Estate money by avoiding probate.  We always draft a Last Will with a Revocable Living Trust which we call a “Pourover Will” which “pours over” any of your assets into your Trust which are arguably not already in the Trust at the time of your death.
